"CONPUTE has received several benefits as a VTN charter member. We have
developed many infrastructure enhancements by networking with peers and sharing
best practices. The Invitational workshops have been instrumental in us
developing our professional services and managed services practices. VTN has
allowed us to attract and retain larger clients to sustain growth. Honestly, if
it wasn’t for our partnership with VTN, I do not know where CONPUTE would be
today".
Don Conaby, president, CONPUTE, Oshawa,
ON.
"The VentureTech Network gives my company a significant competitive advantage
in my local market by expanding my sales and service offerings, by leveraging
technical core competencies of member partners. It also gives me access to
technology solutions and training, valuable manufacturer and executive
relationships, and business resources which allows me to grow my business more
efficiently than my competitors"
Bernie Bourgeois, Chairman, CompuVision Systems Inc., Edmonton, AB
"Over the last eight years, the Venture Tech Network has given WBM a unique
opportunity to grow our business and learn from other solution providers across
North America. The invitationals and chapter meetings have allowed us to
strengthen our existing manufacturer partnerships as well as develop new
partnerships with manufacturers. Most importantly though, we have become part of
a community of VARs who can openly share ideas, solve problems and work together
to secure new business opportunities that we wouldn't be able to tackle on our
own. The ROI has been very significant."
JoeAnne Hardy, co-president, VTN Advisory Council, President, WBM Office Systems, Saskatoon, SK
"The VTN organization has helped me grow my business significantly. From
increased manufacturer partnerships to the ability to partner with members on a
national scale, the VentureTech Network provides a competitive advantage for my
business".
Larry Poirier, CEO, Nitro Microsystems, Ottawa, ON
"Outside of the vast North American partnerships we have established, VTN has
offered Insite a great benefit of sharing best practices with other members,
allowing our company to garner expertise from companies who have already
experienced the challenges faced with new technological offerings. Insite has
been both, able to change the way we do business, as well as share our expertise
with other members, through VTN Invitationals, local chapter meetings and one on
one informal meetings. VTN is one of the few organizations where true
competitors feel very comfortable sharing their business ideas in great detail".
Doron Kaminski, VP Operations/Business Development, Insite Computer Group,
Markham, ON

Business Challenge: Time constraints, heightened airport
security, skyrocketing travel costs and the need to go green have long stifled
the use of book tours. Toronto-based company Unotchit (pronounced
“you-no-touch-it”) sought to solve the problem through a revolutionary
long-distance pen-and-ink technology they trademarked as “LongPen.”
Approach: Unotchit collaborated with expert solution provider GenX
Solutions to implement a combination of internet-based video conferencing and
cutting-edge robotics to remotely autograph books and other items from any
location in the world.
Solution: GenX Solutions turned to Cisco
System’s networking hardware - as well as technical resources available
through the Ingram Micro Services Network (IMSN) - to deploy LongPen in key
